3-year-old girl found dead behind chapel in Mountain Province

PARACELIS, Mountain Province — A three-year-old girl who had been reported missing was found dead behind a chapel in Sitio Batnong, Barangay Banawel, Natonin, Mountain Province, on Sunday, police said Monday. The victim, identified as Thea Bonbon, was discovered lifeless behind the St. Martin de Porres Chapel at around 7:30 a.m. by her grandfather after an overnight search conducted by police and fire protection personnel. She was rushed to the Anastacia Rafael Sagel Memorial Hospital, but the girl was declared dead on arrival by attending physician Dr. Mari Rose Tocuboy, who cited “traumatic brain injury” as the cause of death.
