MANILA, Philippines—The 2026 Palarong Pambansa kicked off Sunday night marking Agusan del Sur’s first time hosting the country’s biggest student athletic meet, as the Department of Education pushes to invest in youth development. The provincial government of Agusan del Sur formally opened the event scheduled until May 31, with over 16,000 delegates participating.
