CEBU, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Leaders’ Declaration on Maritime Cooperation has been adopted as the 48th Asean Summit and Related Meetings conclude on Friday. The document seeks to reaffirm the region’s collective commitment to boost maritime cooperation and highlights the multidimensional nature of maritime issues, Marcos said in a post-summit statement at the International Media Center in Lapu-Lapu City.
