Brighton fought back from 2-0 down away against Liverpool to win a classic Women’s FA Cup semi-final and book a place at Wembley for the first time in their women’s team’s history.
The substitute Nadine Noordam’s 95th-minute winner sparked wild celebrations for Brighton, who had been on top throughout the second half before her last-ditch strike made it 3-2 and left Liverpool with a feeling of despair, as they had been 2-0 up and looking in control early in the first half.
