Cebu City OBO assures strict safety checks in ongoing construction projects

LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu — As more buildings continue to rise across Cebu City, the Office of the Building Official (OBO) has assured the public that construction sites remain under safety monitoring to prevent accidents and structural failures. Architect Florante Catalan, Cebu City planner and OBO head, stressed that the office would strictly follow the National Building Code’s implementing rules and regulations during every phase of construction.
