MANILA, Philippines โ A resort manager was arrested for allegedly keeping endangered wildlife without authorization in Cebu, the Criminal Investigation and Detection Group (CIDG) said on Thursday. Identified only by the alias โLyn,โ 55, the resort manager was arrested in Barangay Kawit, Medellin, on Wednesday morning. โ[She] was caught while keeping, in possession of, and in control of, the wildlife animal species displayed in the resort premises without the necessary permits from the DENR (Department of Environment and Natural Resources),โ the CIDG explained.
