MANILA, Philippines — A total of 101 aspirants for the position of district representatives have filed their certificates of candidacy (COCs) for the first Bangsamoro parliamentary elections, according to the Commission on Elections (Comelec). The Comelec set the COC filing for the elections from May 5-7, 2026. The elections will be held on September 14, 2026 after four postponements. For the parliamentary elections, 40 seats will be allocated to party representatives, 32 to district representatives, and 8 to sectoral representatives.
