Dangerous heat index forecast in NCR, 48 other areas on Thursday

MANILA, Philippines — Metro Manila and 48 other areas are forecast to experience danger-level heat index on Wednesday, May 27, the state weather bureau said. This Eid’l Adha holiday, several areas may record a peak heat index of 46°C, which falls under the danger category (42°C to 51°C).
