Eastern Visayas crime rate drops 57% under Safer Cities Initiative

TACLOBAN CITY- The Police Regional Office 8 (PRO-8) reported on Monday a significant reduction in crime across Eastern Visayas, citing a 57.52 percent drop in the region’s eight focus crimes following the intensified rollout of the Safer Cities Initiative (SCI).
