MANILA, Philippines— Senators Jinggoy Estrada and Rodante Marcoleta have been named vice chairpersons of the Senate blue ribbon committee. Marcoleta headed the committee during the time of then-Senate President Francis Escudero until he was replaced by Sen. Panfilo Lacson after Sen. Vicente “Tito” Sotto III took over the chamber’s leadership in September 2025. But following Sotto’s ouster as Senate president last May 11, new Senate President Alan Cayetano’s sister, Pia, was immediately installed as the new head of the blue ribbon committee.
