MANILA, Philippines โ A total of 24 areas recorded โdangerโ level heat indices on May 10, with Baler (Radar), Aurora reaching the highest at 45ยบC, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said. Heat indices ranging between 42ยบC and 51ยบC are automatically tagged as โdangerโ level by Pagasa amid increased risks of heat cramps and heat exhaustion, which could lead to heat stroke.
