Hong Kong police to launch 2-week crackdown on distracted driving and jaywalking

Hong Kong police will launch a two-week citywide crackdown on distracted driving and jaywalking after the number of people killed in traffic accidents jumped by more than 40 per cent year on year in the first five months of 2026.
