ICC chamber unanimously rejects Duterte appeal for interim release

MANILA, Philippines — The Appeals Chamber of the International Criminal Court (ICC) on Friday, November 28, unanimously rejected former President Rodrigo Duterte’s appeal for interim release. The ruling of the five-member chamber affirmed with the decision of Pre-Trial Chamber I (PTC I) to keep Duterte in detention in The Hague, the Netherlands.
