Infertility affects 1 in 6 people worldwide, WHO reports

GENEVA – The World Health Organization (WHO) said that infertility affects one in six people of reproductive age worldwide, as the organization released a new global guideline that outlines recommendations for improving access to prevention, diagnosis, and treatment. Access to fertility care remains “severely limited” despite the scale of the issue, WHO says.
