Fans that couldn't make it to Vancouver gathered in Melbourne's Federation Square to watch armed with flags, flares and drums to cheer on their teams. As Australia cemented its victory after a six minute extra time, one fan told Guardian Australia, 'Nestory Irankunda, have my children!'
