Jelo Mar Rota leaves Ateneo, open to offers in college hoop

CEBU CITY, Philippines — Jelo Mar Rota is now searching for new opportunities in collegiate basketball after leaving the Ateneo Blue Eagles. The development was first reported on June 2 by UAAP insider Naveen Ganglani of All-Star Magazine following a recent interview with Rota. Rota of Bantayan, admitted that the decision was not an easy one, considering that Ateneo had become his second home over the years.
