Jean-Emile Jammine is joined by Eid Hathaleen, a Palestinian artist, human rights activist, and lifelong resident of the Bedouin village of Umm al-Kheir in the occupied West Bank. He describes the systematic normalization of settler violence devastating his community, insisting these are not random acts of brutality, but calculated attacks and sustained intimidation. He says the ultimate aim is the forced displacement of Palestinians from their land. According to his account, civilians and entire families are deliberately targeted, including some of the most vulnerable members of his community - children on their way to school.
