Labor groups object to proposed online voting in Senate

MANILA, Philippines — A coalition of labor groups on Wednesday said it strongly objects to proposals that will allow for online or remote voting arrangements of lawmakers as it sends the “wrong signal” to workers who have to be physically present at work.
