MANILA, Philippines — The International Criminal Court (ICC) holds a status conference today in the case against former president Rodrigo Duterte to discuss key pre-trial matters, including the possible start date of the trial, evidence disclosure, witness protection, and the participation of victims in the proceedings. Duterte has excused himself from attending the hearing after signing a waiver allowing his legal team to appear on his behalf.
