LAPU-LAPU CITY, Cebu โ A low pressure area (LPA) outside the Philippine Area of Responsibility (PAR) has a โmediumโ chance of developing into a tropical depression, the state weather bureau said on Monday, May 25. The Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa), however, said it remained far from the Philippine landmass as of this report. As of 3 a.m. on Monday, it was spotted 1,515 kilometers east of northeastern Mindanao.
