MANILA, Philippines โ A magnitude 5.5 earthquake jolted Surigao del Sur on Monday, the Philippine Institute of Volcanology and Seismology (Phivolcs) said. The tectonic quake struck 24 kilometers northeast of the municipality of Bayabas at 12:48 a.m. It was 20-km. deep.
