MANILA, Philippines — The camp of Mayor Akmad “Mitra” Ampatuan of Shariff Aguak town on Tuesday presented before the Department of Justice (DOJ) in Manila the rocket-propelled grenade (RPG) allegedly used by the assailants in the Jan. 25 attack on him. In an interview with reporters, lawyer Cyrus Torreña, Ampatuan’s counsel, said that the RPG was brought all the way from Maguindanao as ordered by the DOJ prosecutors handling the case.
