MANILA, Philippines โ The regional trial court of Mandaluyong City has directed the Correctional Institution for Women (CIW) to set the stage for the testimony of Mary Jane Veloso in the criminal cases she filed against her former recruiters. Veloso, who has been held in the CIW since she was repatriated to the Philippines in December 2024, will testify in the human trafficking, estafa and the illegal recruitment case against Maria Cristina Sergio, alias Mary Christine Guilles Pasadilla, and Julius Lacanilao.
