CEBU, Philippines — President Ferdinand Marcos Jr. said the Philippines advanced the operationalization of the Association of Southeast Asian Nations (Asean) Power Grid and the expedited ratification of the Asean Framework Agreement on Petroleum Security (APSA), both aimed at securing energy supply in the region. In a press statement, Marcos said these are among the urgent, interrelated issues he advanced as chair of this year’s Asean Summit.
