Pop-rock singer-songwriter Miguel Escueta said his new album “Stand in the Fire” was shaped by growing public frustration over corruption issues, particularly the controversial flood-control scandal and ongoing political tensions in the Senate.  During a media conference in Quezon City on Tuesday, May 26, Escueta described the album’s title track as a “call to arms” encouraging people to unite for causes they believe in.  “It’s an ode to those who have continued to demand justice in terms of the flood control scandal.
