CEBU CITY, Philippines โ The Office of the Ombudsman has ordered the dismissal from service of Cebu Technological University (CTU) President Joseph Pepito after finding him liable for grave misconduct and dishonesty. The decision, dated May 30, 2025, stemmed from a complaint filed by Atty. Joelie Marie Medalle, who accused Pepito of illegally appointing a new Administrative Officer and falsely claiming to be a resource speaker at an eventโviolations for which the Ombudsman found him administratively liable.
