One of two 2 National Guard members wounded in 'targeted shooting' has died

US President Donald Trump said his administration will "permanently pause" migration from all "third world countries", following the death on Thursday of a National Guard member in an attack near the White House. Investigators say the shooting was carried out by an Afghan national who entered the US in 2021 under a resettlement programme. Florent Marchais has this story.
