MANILA, Philippines — Social media personality and Peanut Gallery Media Network (PGMN) news site founder Franco Mabanta and four others have been ordered to be released from detention. This development comes after he posted bail relating to his case of alleged extortion attempt on former House speaker Martin Romualdez. In a document provided by the National Bureau of Investigation, the Pasig Regional Trial Court on Saturday ordered their release after posting bail of P120,000 each.
