MANILA, Philippines — The Philippine National Police (PNP) on Friday said it recorded a 17.45-percent drop in crime rates across the country between Aug. 26 and Nov. 26, 2025. There were 10,314 focus crime incidents from Aug. 26 to Nov. 26, 2024, compared to 8,514 incidents during the same period this year, the PNP said in a statement. Focus crimes include murder, homicide, physical injury, rape, robbery, theft and carnapping.
