MANILA, Philippines โ Senators on Tuesday night engaged in an intense debate over Sen. Rodante Marcoletaโs proposed rule allowing senators to vote electronically during sessions, prompting the minority bloc to walk out. Marcoleta proposed on May 11, when Sen. Ronald “Bato” dela Rosa reappeared after six months in hiding. He has since gone into hiding again amid an arrest warrant issued against him by the International Criminal Court (ICC).
