MANILA, Philippines — Shear line and northeast monsoon, or amihan, will bring rains in parts of Luzon on Saturday, the state weather bureau said. In its 5 a.m. weather forecast, the Philippine Atmospheric, Geophysical, and Astronomical Services Administration (Pagasa) said that the shear line, or the convergence of warm and cold winds, and amihan will prevail in the northern parts of Luzon. Pagasa weather specialist Obet Badrina said that Cagayan, Kalinga, Apayao will experience high chances of rains due to the shear line.
